Talking about "insulation" knowledge of terminal blocks

Nowadays, for many purchasers, the name of "terminal" will not be strange, because they may encounter terminal procurement projects in their past work experience! With the continuous development of automation demand, the same terminal "insulation" demand is also upgrading.
The main function of the terminal block is to realize the electrical connection. Therefore, the market puts forward higher performance requirements for the materials and insulation materials of the terminal block.

1. Appearance: similar to other brand products, terminal appearance is pleasing to the eye; Many terminal companies understand that product appearance and product quality play an important role in user experience.

2. Use: Terminal blocks must be easy to use and install because they are often installed in the control cabinet or other narrow space.

3. Material selection: the terminal material should be of high quality. For example, the insulating parts should be made of flame-retardant engineering plastics, and the conductive materials that should be made of copper should never be made of iron; The plastic insulating materials and conductive parts of the terminal directly affect the quality of the terminal, which determine the insulation and conductivity of the terminal respectively.

Nylon can still maintain good electrical, mechanical, chemical and other properties at high temperature. It has good thermal aging resistance and can withstand high temperature up to 200 ℃ in a short time. The melting point of different types of nylon (PA4.6, 6.6, 6, 10, etc.) varies from 215 ℃ to 295 ℃.
Nylon can absorb water from the surrounding environment, with an average of 2.8%. The absorbed water molecules have a certain combination with the chemical composition of nylon, so that even at a low temperature of - 40 ℃, nylon can still maintain elasticity without cracking. According to UL94 standard, the flame retardant grade of PA is V2 to VO.
